This clinic is exceptional! We had the most amazing experience and cannot recommend them highly enough! Our small Italian Greyhound was treated for patella luxation, and Doctor Gareth did an absolutely outstanding job. Every staff member was kind, caring, and professional. I still can’t believe it’s been less than two weeks since our dog’s surgery and he’s already stepping on his leg! At another clinic, when the same surgery was done on the other leg, it took over 9 months before he could use it again. The difference is incredible! We are deeply grateful for Doctor Gareth’s expertise, care, and dedication. A big Thank You also to the wonderful staff members who made the whole experience so positive. I own an Italian greyhound & in her first 18 months she required 3 major surgeries on her legs. At Arthur Veterinary Specialists we dealt with the most professional & caring team. They saw us through a very traumatic & stressful time. We were always fully informed of what was happening, how to move forward & what to expect, always with the best interest of our dog. Today my dog leads a very normal & happy life. I can not recommend them enough & would always return for their services.

We were referred to Arthurs Veterinary Specialists because our little dog was lame on his back leg. Vets 4 Pets said he had an issue with his knee. The X-rays and consultation with them was around £1200! We took him along to see Arthurs Veterniary Specialists and he was diagnosed with a ruptured cruciate ligament straight away. They kept him in and operated on him that day. The entire team were brilliant. It's so heartbreaking to see your dog in pain, but Gareth and the staff were so reassuring. He took the time to go through exactly what the issue was and what they would need to do to get him back to normal. They were so good with Jasper and when we got him back, there was plenty of really good aftercare. I emailed a couple of photos of the healing wound just to check it was ok and Gareth responded that day with a great email, reassuring us that everything was fine. We didn't have loads of unnecessary stuff lumped in, with upselling etc. It was a world apart from the big corporate vets. The entire experience is always going to be a bit upsetting but I can honestly say that the service we got here was second to none. I am moving away from Vets 4 Pet and going to register with Towcester Vets as a result. If you ever need a good vet - look no further. You will not go wrong here!

Our Whippet suffered a dislocated shoulder following an accident. Gareth was really thorough in explaining the options and likely outcome of each which meant we took an informed decision whilst fully understanding risks. The team at Arthurs Vetenary Specialists provided superb care snd understanding and 4 months after the operation, our Whippet has a very promising future ahead. We are extremely grateful.

Our little guy was seen quickly then admitted to Arthurs for arthrodesis surgery. It was awful to leave him at the hospital for 3 nights but every night, without fail we would get a call with an update on Sam's progress and also how the nursing staff were taking him out and giving him cuddles and he was settled and calm. The outcome of the surgery has been amazing and we would not hesitate to recommend Arthurs for a pet suffering and kind of orthopaedic complication. They are just an excellent team who know how to do their jobs down to the last detail. We cannot thank them enough for the care they gave to our boy from admittance to the last appointment for discharge.
