A superb wonderful Vet, whose gentleness and love are Paramount. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice and Catherine the new Vet is again a Vet full of love, Care and attention.. Plus the care you get as you walk in as you can help yourself to a nice coffee. The practice is located in wonderful surroundings of a boat marina and there are some fabulous walks by the side of the canal when you have finished. All in all a score Of 100 out of 100.

Very happy with our visit, Rinnert was very thorough with Holly and took the time to listen and answer any questions I had. This was the first time Holly has not been very nervous at the vet. Very friendly practice and Alison on reception made us feel very welcome.

I took my anxious rescue for help with his anxiety when out walking, especially when we saw other dogs, even from a distance was often enough to trigger a melt down. The difference has been astonishing, over the last couple of months, we have had 2 sessions of acupunture along with herbs, and due for a 3rd session at the end of the month. He is so much more relaxed and we are enjoying walks usually stress free, able to walk past other dogs at a distance and any stress is quickly calmed. For us this has been life changing and I highly recommend.

Amazing ! Our 13 year old mostly-labrador has severe osteoarthritis and was struggling to do anything. We took him for acupuncture and herbal medicine which is tailored to the needs of your dog or cat. After one session Jazz was finding it much easier to get up and move about, and even started playing tug-of-war with our other dog ( they ended up with half a toy each ! ) Many thanks to Rinnert and the helpful and friendly team. Very highly recommended.

I have been bringing my Dalmatian, Gracie, here for around two years now. She is now 16 years old and struggled initially with arthritis and joint pain, along with some other varying symptoms as she continues to age. With the support of Rinnert and his team, she has had laser therapy, acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal remedies to support her over this time. As her symptoms change, her therapies have been adjusted to best support her at each specific time and it has greatly improved her pain levels in particular. The team at Holistic Vet Care have always been personable, professional and supportive. Their approach and support alongside traditional, western, pharmaceuticals is appreciated, as the balance can feel difficult at times and is also a very personal choice. I feel very supported by the team and particularly Rinnert as Gracie’s final days seem to be drawing closer - she has the best care and support any dog could receive. Thank you Holistic Vet Care!

I'll try to make this as short as possible, but still might end up being a bit of a long read. I've had my Mr Hog(approx 14yo) for about 10 years and trust me, we have seen/tried a LOT.. He was a rescue, so he came into my life with quite a few issues. It's never been easy, there always would be some sort of chronic issue. Which kept me in a state of constant anxiety throughout the years. In past few years it's all been about pancreatitis for us. And all that was happening on top of us moving across the world. So I have tried gazillion of clinics and vets in several countries, but nothing seemed to really help. My poor Mr Hog kept being loaded with drugs, that did absolutely nothing. He kept struggling with food, would have horrible episodes of acute pain, when he would freeze and stand all hunched, not being able to move, because his stomach was hurting so bad. The clinic we were signed to went as far as to tell me, that, maybe, we'll have to consider euthanasia, if he keeps refusing food and won't improve. I was just getting hopeless and desperate. And one day I somehow thought of something I've never considered before - looking for a holistic vet. And oh my god. How lucky was I to think that AND to pick Rinnert's clinic. Ever since Hog started seeing him for acupuncture, laser (he started also developing some back/legs pain due to his age) & herbs - Hog started eating like a wolf. Since Rinnert started treating him (which was around May 2024) we've NEVER had pancreatitis flareup EVER again. Rinnert also suggested an amazing diet for him, so he was always happy to have his meals. Sadly, Mr Hog has developed dementia, which, I might be wrong, BUT started showing when he was pumped with all sorts of drugs from a traditional vet clinic... We fought it for more than half a year and, unfortunately, I had to let him go this past month.. BUT I really don't know how I would have survived this time if it wasn't for Rinnert's treatments for Hog and countless conversations with me, providing support during the worst time of my life. I will never be able to put into words how much Rinnert has helped us. It's a shame I haven't thought of trying holistic vet care earlier.. I will forever be wondering, if Hog would still be here, had I thought of this sooner than I did... Because I do absolutely believe that the list of drugs he was pumped with by traditional vets pushed him over the edge.. So I wish that anyone struggling like we did finds THIS clinic. I can't recommend it enough. I apologise if my review is a bit chaotic, it's still quite emotional to relieve our whole story. But what I'm trying to say is - Rinner is an absolute game changer, an incredible specialist and just an amazing human being, who I can't thank enough.

I dont really know where to begin. I met Rinnert in February 2021 when my whippets Lottie and Lacey started having some health issues. Lottie had been diagnosed with MVD and spondylitis and Lacey had recurring soft tissue sarcomas. Right up until their last days, Rinnert took care of them. Lacey passed at 15 years and 2 months old.....Lottie passed just a few days ago at 16 years 2 months old. Never did Lottie experience any symptoms of heart failure such as coughing etc. Rinnert gave Lottie and Lacey quality of life, right up until the very end. Lottie was extremely sensitive to drugs. The Chinese herbs Rinnert used were amazing and Lottie tolerated then nicely. I will be forever indebted to Rinnert for giving Lottie and Lacey such an amazing quality of life. Should I ever decide to have another dog in my life, Holistic Vet Care is where we will go. Thanks again for everything ♡

I can’t thank Holistic Vet Care enough for the incredible difference they’ve made in my dog’s health. Within just six months, they successfully treated his liver condition—something which my diagnosed with just before Christmas 2024. On top of that, they’ve helped manage his allergies, which he had been taking tablets for over the past nine years. Thanks to their holistic approach, he no longer needs daily medication!

I can’t recommend Rinnert at Holistic Vet Care enough. He has massively helped both my dogs over the several years I’ve taken them for their health issues and continue to do so. One has pain in their hips and has done since young, none of the other vets could help, thankfully with a mix of regular acupuncture, laser treatment and Chinese herbs they are doing really well. My other dog is terribly anxious and the herbs and acupuncture sessions really help her. He’s also done titre testing for us which has been helpful. Rinnert and his Reception team are all very kind, helpful and make everything as easy as possible especially with the pet insurance. We’re very lucky to have such a great vet locally who approaches things holistically. It’s not your usual 10 minute vet visit, you have a full consultation and treatment normally about an hour long where Rinnert understands the full picture of what’s going on with your pet and assessing how to help. Thank you for the care and support you continue to give to us. 🐶🐶

After having an MCT removal surgery last year, my dog’s health was deteriorating, and the traditional vets were struggling to heal him. This is when we started seeing Dr. Rinnert at Holistic Vet Care, who identified the root cause of my dog’s health concerns, and gradually his health improved. The surgery is well-equipped for nervous/reactive dogs - the staff always make sure that we don’t bump into another dog when entering or exiting the surgery. Dr. Rinnert always takes his time in the appointment to make my dog feel calm and not rushed and listens to all of our concerns. My dog has been receiving an acupuncture treatment as well as Chinese herbs, which has really helped with boosting his immune system naturally. In between the appointments, the surgery has been very responsive to my emails as well, in case my dog developed any new symptoms. Also, the surgery is located in a really lovely, peaceful area, and there is loads of parking available. I highly recommend! ☺️
